What is Handmade

We are a collaboration of Artisans based in Britain. We sell in online markets via Facebook as well as from our new Web store.

Each month, alongside our full members, we will be inviting British-based Artisans to join us as guest members. This allows us to bring you new and exciting ranges but, more importantly, we get to share with you some of the amazing talent that Britain has. Our mission is to bring to you high quality and unique handmade items; showcasing handmade quality as opposed to mass produced products that are not made with the love, thought and care that our Artisans put into each item.

We welcome Artisans contacting us with requests for guest membership. Please be aware though that we do not invite anyone that offers items that our members offer. This way we can ensure we offer you a wide variety of products. To be considered by Handmade for a guest membership you must be a registered business with HMRC, not breach copyright, carry out CE testing where legally required and hold a F&H certificate of 4 or above if selling food.

Handmade will be keeping you informed of exhibitions that may be of interest, we will have meet the maker profiles, insights into what our members make (you may even get the odd video or two) and we will be opening up our Facebook wall for pages to share their items one day a week through Friday Shout Outs - we will choose our favourites to share with our fans.

When shopping with Handmade you can shop with the safety of knowing that all our Artisans are of the highest quality.

If that was not enough reason to shop with Handmade, at each monthly market we will having a Giveaway of a Handmade item by one of our members. You will be allocated a raffle ticket for each purchase you make. The winning number will be drawn once all invoices have been paid and the winner will be announced on our Facebook page.
